Raise your hand if you have ever said, “I need to lose weight”.  Now, if you are like me, you have tried several diets in your lifetime.  I’ve done the Cabbage Soup Diet…no thank you.  I’ve done the HCG Diet…I was hungry all day long.  I’ve done the Calorie Counting Diet…tedious, but doable.  And I have done The Keto Diet…I was full and lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks.

As many of you know, I like to say I am the baking agent. One of the hardest things for me on The Keto Diet was giving up my bread. Check out this keto bread site for ideas.

Honestly, I was raised on homemade yeast breads (thank you, Daddy), and nope, not giving up my bread.  So, I found myself asking, “is The Keto Diet for you”?

In short, yes. Because I feel better when I have fewer carbs.  Luckily, the part Arab in me loves the high fat content of many Mediterranean foods and that incorporates well with The Keto Diet. I love olives, meats, cheeses, avocados…so realistically I just needed to solve my bread fix.  And now I think I have.
