Why Do A Final Buyer Walk-Through?

You’re almost to the finish line. That magical moment when you get the keys to your new home. But first, you should get your feet back inside the door to make sure the home hasn’t changed. Do your Buyer Walk-Through.

So, you’re scratching your head right now, aren’t you? How can a home change in 30 days? Let me break it down for you and make sure you check these off your to-do list.

Seller Repairs

The roof was leaking and the seller agreed in writing to repair it. But did they? The drain under the kitchen was leaking and the seller agreed to repair it. But did they? You will never know unless you do your Buyer Walk-Through.

Vandalism

It’s been 20+ days since the inspection and you haven’t stepped inside the home you’re buying since that time. What if someone broke in and punched holes in the walls? Or removed the kitchen appliances?

Keys

Your REALTOR will also check to see if the keys are accessible to you after closing. You’ve been waiting to make this home; keys are a necessity, right?

Do you have any Real Estate buying or selling questions? Drop them in the comments and I will get back to you!

til later,

Growing up, as the daughter of a WWII Marine Veteran, I learned the value of honoring those who fought for our freedoms, taught our freedoms, protected our freedoms, and made sure we were secure healthwise to pursue our freedoms. Nothing is more important to me than serving these heroes in what will be one of the largest purchases of their life, that of buying a home where they can grow roots of their own. You aren't a client when you choose me to help find your home, you're family. How can I serve you?
